The spout and valve at the bottom of the unit are fashioned out of chrome-plated ABS to match the base and are corrosion resistant. The unit dispenses liquid when users push upward against the valve. Less than 5 pounds of force is required for dispensing in keeping with ADA accessibility guidelines.
